    Bob Barker has died after a long illness, his family announced on Saturday. He was 99 years of age. Barker's wife Dorothy Jo died of lung cancer at age 57 in 1981. He had frequent fights with skin cancer after a lifetime of tanning. But it is uncertain what finally took his life. It may simply be extreme old age.     8/19: A garbage dump caught fire in Qaqortog, Greenland Saturday. The fire was extinguished by helicopter.
