what we believe
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love. We feel we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Our core values make up and impact life here at Beech Grove-Knoxville. They reflect who we are and define our purpose.
Because the message of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection is God’s power for salvation to all who believe, we seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ personally, locally, and globally.
We believe in worshipping our Lord and Savior in spirit and in truth. We want people to personally experience the love of Jesus during our worship services and feel the freedom to worship. We also believe this worship must flow out of a life lived daily for the glory of God.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are inerrant and infallible. It is our sole authority and foundation for what we believe and practice. We believe in the One True God and He is revealed to us through the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Salvation By Grace Through Faith and that salvation is the free gift of God received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that apart from Christ there is no possible salvation.
Because disciples are to become like Christ, we seek to develop character, biblical knowledge, and ministry skills in others and ourselves as a lifelong process toward spiritual maturity.
Tithes & Offerings
God has entrusted us with His resources. We seek to faithfully share those resources through tithes and offerings for the ministry of our church, the spread of the gospel, and the care of those in need. We believe generosity is a lifestyle of love-inspired, sacrificial giving.
